Stars align with Paul Grimstad finding a voice of beauty in Talia Ryder from The Sweet East. Paul has an incredible pop intellect and should be championed by all record store clerks and record store clerk wannabees. Sean, the director of Sweet East and PoR consigner, would bring Paul to the store a couple times to raid the bins and listen to every rock pop masterpiece in here at full blast. 10cc, Steely, Rundgren, Yes...Beatles. Paul was insatiable and seemed like the type of person that would listen to 15 records at once if he could. Obviously not the weirdest thing for an American Man/Boy/Savant to enjoy but it does feel different when he's a scholar of music and the type of person that teaches Music with a capital M at Yale. For over a decade, theres been drunken nights where we've binged on Sean's hard drive full of Paul's unreleased music. Hopefully the day will come where more will get released. Enjoy this pop fan's dream.
